Checking in

The feeling that you are stuck in a rut will come over you today, and it could feel as though there's no point in even trying to get out of it. But before inertia takes over, check in with friends for a little pep talk. If you need any inspiration, you know that one of them (if not all of them) will provide you with the spark you need to add some interest to your day. Even if they just recommend a new song they think you would like, give it a listen and see what happens.

I could be at SAW tonight

Wow, I have been really pensive this week when I think of where I could be right now. Since Wednesday I have been replaying my Squam experience of last year in my head, over and over, the beautiful souls that I met, the talent that I saw, the bravery I experienced ( from myself as well). I can't believe I didn't go this year.

I was supposed to lose my job in September, which is the main reason I didn't sign up, but I didn't end up losing it yet.

So when I got the chance to have a night in alone tonight, I recreated my own Squam in my studio. And here are the pictures.

Newest Painting

I finally had a chance to upload my newest flower painting. Its a 6x6 panel. I want to paint a third one and hang it as a series in the first floor bathroom. Saturday night I'll be having an artist date with myself in the studio. I can't wait!!!!
